Ashley Walker
Assistant Director, Senior Career Counselor

Before joining Duke Law, Ashley worked in private practice for seven years as an associate with the law firm Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP.  Her practice focused on complex litigation matters, with an emphasis on white collar defense, government investigations, and whistleblower cases.  Outside of advising clients, Ashley was involved with the firm’s associate mentoring program and served on the firm’s committees for professional development and diversity and inclusion.  Ashley received her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, magna cum laude, Order of the Coif, and her B.A. in Public Policy Studies from Duke University (Trinity, ’07).  She is excited to be able to return to Duke and the opportunity to advise law students about legal practice and the importance of strategic professional development.
