Breakout Sessions: The Effective Communication for Women Workshop will allow participants to practice general (gendered) challenges to effective communication and public speaking. Led by Prof. Hemphill of Duke's Theater Studies Dept. The Persuasion & Advocacy Workshop will allow participants to learn to master the art of persuasion from the female perspective. Led by Profs. Wettach and Lovelace. The Negotiation Workshop will be geared toward women who have varying career interests for practice negotiating from the female perspective. Led by Profs. Thomson and Mock.
