The first of a two-part program, this session will give a broad overview of the 2L and Post-grad job search for GPI students, including general hiring timelines for each, what students should be doing over the summer in advance of applications, and a review of CPDC resources. We will cover all employer types, including state and federal government, nonprofits, district attorneys/public defenders, etc. We will also go over a preview of Equal Justice Works for next Fall. Sponsored by the Career & Professional Development Center. 1Ls will especially benefit from the holistic discussion, as a conversation about where to work 2L summer often involves thinking about where you want to work immediately post-grad.
