Community Service
Community service is an integral part of life at Duke Law. Nearly 1/3 of students participate in pro bono or public interest work, and many others work as volunteers, mentors, teachers and organizers. The Duke Bar Association Community Service Board exists solely to provide service opportunities for students: through facilitation of individual service projects and plannning of group community service events, the DBA Community Service Board encourages students to give back to the local community in Durham.
