 Information for VITA Volunteers

Get ready to do clients' taxes!

  • Make sure you have passed the VITA tax test and returned the signed Standards of Conduct Agreement (.pdf) to Kim Burrucker.
  • Make sure your copy of Taxwise has been properly set up with defaults.
  • Update your Taxwise software every time before you go to a VITA site, while you still have internet access.
  • Review your training materials, including your "Quick Reference Guide".
  • Check the VITA calendar for dates and directions.
