About Duke Law VITA
VITA is a fast-growing student organization dedicated to providing income tax assistance to low-income clients, with a focus on underserved minority groups in the Durham community. Last year, Duke Law VITA volunteers completed over 270 returns, netting refunds over $367,000 with clients receiving over $240,000 in tax credits.
