If you find yourself wondering what you will do to learn over the Summer, consider ARGENTINE TANGO.
Over the past month we have had a lot of excitement
with the visit of Suzanna Tambutti form Argentina who taught an eight hour
Argentine tango in Greensboro and two beginner workshops in the Research
Triangle.
Here are some planned events for Argentine tango
for the Spring and Summer. Other activities are being organized. In early
June we are planning a party at a large restaurant in Raleigh, hopefully
with a live band. We are inviting a nationally known Argentine tango dance
instructor to come to the Research Triangle area to present a weekend workshop
in the Fall.
Look over these scheduled activities. We hope to see you there.

The Research Triangle Argentine Tango Dance Coterie
is a group of volunteers established to provide a local web of communication
for those of us interested in learning and encouraging others to join in
learning Argentine tango.
Anyone interested in beginning, adding to or
sustaining their Argentine Tango dance skills may join. Anyone may organize
an event. You may include as many or as few participants in your events
as you wish. The purpose of the Coterie is to expand dance opportunities,
not to constrain in any way or to replace the function of any other organization.
If you do not have easy access to e-mail and
would like for notice of your event to be sent to members by e-mail, call
Gary Peterson (gpeterson@pol.net) at 929-7769. I will be happy to distribute
the information. We have a telephone tree for members who do not have e-mail.
BOOMBOX: We will buy a boombox with our remaining money.
EXIT QUESTIONAIRE: Gabrielle is composing an exit questionaire to get
feedback from club members
STRUCTURE: As long as space permits, we will open the lessons to
non-graduate students, starting in the fall.
ADVERTISING: We will set up a table at Law School Club day.
LESSON TIMES: We may try different times/places, depending on the Exit
Questionnaire results.
Comments? Respond to the list.
