The ALSA provides a forum in which members of the Law School community can explore issues and engage in activities of interest to American students of Asian descent, foreign students from Asia, and other students and alumni interested in Asia and law. Currently, we are members of the National Asian Pacific American Law Students Association (NAPALSA). In attending the national conferences, we engage in a dialogue with other law schools and maintain in contact with the National Pacific Bar Association (NAPABA). Furthermore, we foster social interaction of ALSA members within the law school as well as among the graduate and professional schools (e.g. in the last school year, we hosted a welcome dinner and a Lunar New Year dumpling party celebration). Finally, we are creating a Distinguished Alumni series to draw upon our alumni as speakers and panelists.
