Registration is free but required.
This is a two-day symposium that will bring together experienced executives, prominent attorneys, economists, and politicians, including the former president of Argentina, Carlos Menem. The focus will be to provide the audience with a general overview of the business and legal environment as well as the current trends in the region and to offer a platform to these practitioners to present their success stories and business challenges.
The Duke University community will have the opportunity to meet with the prominent participants who have faced and dealt with numerous complex business transactions and circumstances in emerging economies. The symposium will also provide a venue for cross-cultural exchange and for engaging in discussion of the Latin American region in an in-depth fashion.
For questions about the symposium, contact Alvaro Carrau at aec23@duke.edu.
