Workshops

In the fall of 2010, LRP will present the Law and Race Workshop. This workshop is an opportunity for leading race and law faculty around the country to present their latest work to students at the Law School. Students will be responsible for reading and commenting on the work. The Law and Race Workshop will meet six times in the fall semester.

In the spring of 2012 LRP will present an interdisciplinary Law and Politics Workshop. The Politics Workshop will be organized similarly to the Law and Race Workshop, with one exception. Law students taking the Workshop for credit will be required to first take the course on empirical methods in the social sciences offered by LRP faculty. Social science students will be required to take an introductory course to legal reasoning offered by the Law School.
