Admissions

Admission is open to all sitting judges at the state, federal, or international level. Applicants must be sitting judges and must have a law degree from an accredited U.S. law school or equivalent foreign university.

To apply, applicants must:

  • Download and submit an application to the Law School
  • Provide a personal statement describing their prior experience and academic or professional motivations for pursuing the degree

Additional letters of recommendation speaking to the candidate’s qualifications for the program are not required but may be requested.

The deadline for submitting an application for admission to the 2016-2017 class is November 1, 2015. Admission decisions for applicants meeting the November deadline will be announced no later than February 15, 2016.
