Travel
Participants must make their own travel arrangements. Participants who need a visa should make inquiries at the Swiss embassy in their home countries. Ms. Tonya Jacobs will supply
necessary documentation. In order to ensure arrival at the Institute at the start of the program, visa applications should be made well before the program begins.

Option I - By shuttle
The hotel has a free shuttle service from the airport, running from 7:00 am until 9:00 pm. You can call the shuttle from the airport at the SwissAir welcome desk on the
arrivals level. The trip usually takes 10 minutes, but can be longer according to traffic.
Option II - By bus
Take the No. 10 bus into town. You catch the bus upstairs on the departure level after you come in on the lower arrival level. The bus stop is outside at the near end of the
airport train station. No need to worry about the direction as this is the terminal stop. Therefore, all buses go into town.
Get off at the Poterie stop, which is on a street called rue de la Servette.
Cross the street to the opposite sidewalk and walk to the left until you reach rue Antoine Carteret (one block away). Turn right on rue Antoine Carteret and walk until
you reach the end of that street. You will now have reached rue du Grand-Pré. Walk to the left and you will find the hotel just few meters away (less than one block).
The bus trip lasts approximately 13 minutes. Once you have reached the Poterie bus stop, the hotel is within 5-7 minutes walking distance.
Buses run from approximately 5:45 am until 12:25 am (including Sundays).
Option III - By taxi
A taxi may be taken to the hotel for approximately 20 francs. Most taxi drivers understand enough English to recognize an address.
