Duke Environmental Law & Policy Forum Hosts Natural Resources Policy Symposium Nov. 14.

The Natural Resources Policy under the Bush (II) Administration Symposium gathers environmental experts and government representatives headlined by Lynn Scarlett, Assistant Secretary of the Department of the Interior, and John Leshy, formerly Solicitor of the Department of Interior under the Clinton Administration, to discuss the turning political tide of environmental issues in the United States. This Duke Environmental Law and Policy Forum sponsored symposium brings together proponents of Bush's policies as well as those who are critical of it to facilitate a better understanding of significant environmental issues. Additionally, this symposium has been approved for 6.25 hours of North Carolina CLE credits.

The Duke Environmental Law & Policy Forum (ISSN 1064-3958), published by Duke Law School since 1991, is a traditional journal with articles and commentary from noted scholars and practitioners and notes submitted by students. The Forum presents scholarship related to both legal and policy analyses of environmental issues by combining the resources of the Law School, the Nicholas School of the Environment and the Terry Sanford Institute of Public Policy. The Duke Environmental Law & Policy Forum is published each spring and fall.
