Lecturing Fellow
Ms. Kort received her J. D. in 1999 from the University of Texas School of Law in Austin, Texas, and her B.A. in 1995, with honors, from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
After earning her juris doctorate, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Judith M. Barzilay on the United States Court of International Trade in New York. She then practiced white collar criminal defense with the New York law firm of Holland & Knight LLP, and plaintiffs' securities class action law at Entwistle & Cappucci LLP, also in New York.
Ms. Kort holds bar memberships in New York, California, and North Carolina. She is an avid marathon runner, an indoor cycling instructor, and speaks fluent Hebrew.
