Kenneth Hirsh
Head, Infrastructure & Systems
Kenneth Hirsh is a Senior Lecturing Fellow and is Head, Systems. From 1993 until 2008 he was manager and then director of Computing Servics. He is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the law school computing infrastructure. From 1989 to 1994, Mr. Hirsh served as a reference librarian in the law school.
Mr. Hirsh is active in the American Association of Law Libraries and is a regular speaker at the annual meetings on law school computing sponsored by the Center for Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction. He was a member of the Florida Bar from 1977 to 1996 and practiced law in Florida for several years. He is currently serving as a member of the board of directors and secretary of CALI, the Center for Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction.
Mr. Hirsh has taught legal research and co-developed and teaches a course in in the field of technology used in law practice.
He received his A.B. from the University of Miami, his J.D. from the University of Florida and his M.S.L.I.S. from Florida State University
