Robert B. Glenn Jr.
Senior Lecturing Fellow
Robert B. Glenn, Jr. received his B.A. from Randolph-Macon College in 1971, and his J.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1974. He has been a Shareholder in the firm of Glenn, Mills & Fisher, P. A. since 1980. Prior to then, he was a Partner in the firm of Newsome, Graham, Strayhorn, Hedrick, Murray, Bryson & Kennon.
Mr. Glenn has been a Senior Lecturer at Duke University School of Law since 1991, and from 1985-1991 was an Adjunct Instructor at North Carolina Central University School of Law. He is currently an Associate with the American Board of Trial Advocacy, and served as an Examiner for the National Board of Trial Advocacy from 1986-1990.
Mr. Glen has received the following professional designations: since 1982, an "AV" rating in Martindale-Hubbell; since 1991, Martindale-Hubbell Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers in Civil Litigation and Personal Injury; and from 1991-1995 The Best Lawyers in America in Business Litigation. He was the 1997 recipient of the Charles L. Becton Teaching Award from the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers. He was certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy as a Civil Trial Advocate in 1985, and has since been active as a lecturer, instructor, or program chair for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy and the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers for both national and local conferences.
