Mark Dorosin is a Senior Lecturing Fellow and Supervising Attorney in the Community Enterprise Clinic.
Prior to coming to Duke, Mark worked as an attorney and loan servicing officer at Self-Help, a leading North Carolina community development corporation. He was an Assistant Clinical Professor of Law and the Interim Director of the UNC Law School Community Development Law Clinic during the 2003-04 academic year.
After graduating from law school, Mark was a partner and litigator in a community law firm in Chapel Hill, NC, concentrating exclusively on civil rights and employment discrimination. He also helped implement the state’s Guardian Ad Litem Pro Bono Project.
Mark received his B.A. from Duke University in 1987 and a Master’s Degree in History from UNC-Greensboro in 1989. He earned his J.D. from the University of North Carolina in 1994.
In addition to his legal work, Mark has advised and served on the boards of several local non-profits, and was a member of the Carrboro Board of Aldermen from 1999-2003. He has taught history and political science at Alamance Community College, and has written several plays.
