Triangle Public Advocates

November 11, 2010 • 12:15 PM • Law School 4047

Duke Law's chapters of the American Constitution Society and the American Civil Liberties Union invite you to a panel discussion with local advocates from across the Research Triangle. Our guests will discuss their own advocacy work, answer questions from students about public interest careers, and shed some light on public interest career paths that don't involve traditional law practice. The panel will include Grady McCallie, Policy Director for the North Carolina Conservation Network; Diane Standaert, Legislative Counsel for the Center for Responsible Lending; and Sarah Preston, Legislative Director for ACLU of North Carolina. Dean Kimberly Bart of Duke's Public Interest and Pro Bono Program will moderate the discussion. Lunch will be provided.
