3L Daniel Mandell will present his paper entitled "Making Apple Juice with Oranges: Why Random Member Selection is a Bad Idea for Courts-Martial" in which he argues that random jury selection contravenes the goals of the military justice system. The Student Paper Series provides a forum for intellectually stimulating discussions of student scholarship and is open to all Duke Law students (you do not need to present a paper to participate). For more information, contact David Chiang at david.chiang@law.duke.edu or Virginia Franks at virginia.franks@law.duke.edu.
