The Right to Discriminate?

November 17, 2011 • 12:30 PM • Law School 3037

Greg Baylor L'90, Attorney with the Alliance Defense Fund and Duke Law Alum, will discuss Ward v. Willbanks and the issues it raises. Are those who are sincere about their faith unfit for the counseling profession? Do public universities violate the Constitution when they force counseling students to choose between their faith and getting their degree? Should-and may-public universities punish or attempt to "re-educate" a student who has an ethical objection to affirming same-sex behavior? Please contact Phil Aubart at pla4@duke.edu for more information.
