October App Chat: Going Mobile in the Classroom

October's App Chat theme will be "Using Mobile Devices in the Classroom". The session will be from 2-3pm in the Digital Initiatives Law (Law Library Rm 3211). To guide our discussion, please read Post 1205 from Rick Reis's Tomorrow's Professor Newsletter on "Going Social With Mobil (sic) Learning." Topics for discussion will be: - What are appropriate ways to use mobile devices in the classroom?- What types of things should an instructor consider when trying to use apps for teaching?- What are students expecting from instructors in terms of mobile device usage for learning?App Chat is a monthly gathering of Duke Law mobile device users. Faculty, staff, and students are welcome to attend.
