South African Constitutional Court Justice Edwin Cameron will speak on efforts in South Africa to guarantee rights for gay, lesbian, trans-gendered and queer citizens post-apartheid. For the discussion, Justice Cameron will be referring to "Somewhere Over the Rainbow Nation: Gay, Lesbian and Bisexual Activism in South Africa," by Ryan Richard Thoreson, published in the September 2008 edition of the Journal of South African Studies.
