Dining
Durham offers a plethora of dining options. In the 9th Street district you'll find fresh Latin American Cuisine at the Blue Corn Café, Southern staples at Elmo's Diner, eclectic seafood selections at Blu Seafood and Bar, and elegant seasonal specials at the Magnolia Grill — alongside a number of sandwich shops, pizzerias, and fast food-esque ethnic options.
Brightleaf Square offers a number of excellent restaurants, as well, many with outside dining. Some of the highlights include Mt. Fuji, an Asian bistro, Chamas, a Brazilian steakhouse, and Parker & Otis, a must-try specialty food store. Folks also watch their favorite teams play on the big screen at Satisfaction, grab drinks at The Federal and James Joyce, and catch brunch at The Piedmont, which is nearby.
The list of mouth watering cuisine goes on... barbecue at The Q-Shack, burgers at Wimpy's Grill, fried green tomatoes at Watts Grocery, chalupas at Torreros... and that's just in Durham.
