- BLSA shoe drive throughout November
Please support Duke BLSA in helping someone "walk a mile in our shoes" at our "Soles for Souls" shoe drive. All used shoes (adult, children, dress, and athletic) will be donated to third world
countries. (No steel toe shoes or 4-inch heels.) Drop off shoes in labeled boxes in the Blue Lounge. If you have questions, contact Cerretta Amos at cerretta.amos@duke.edu.

- Ad hoc Seminar & International Social Justice and Legal Services Trip to Brazil (March 6-13, 2010)
Between 8 and 10 Duke Law students will be selected to participate in this seminar and trip. Participants will provide legal assistance to local communities and public interest NGOs on a concrete
project concerning issues of social justice, international human rights, and/or comparative law. Application deadline is Dec. 4, 2010.
- Participate in the annual Project Share fundraiser
Each year, the Duke Law community sponsors local families through Project Share by raising money to buy holiday gifts for them. In the past seven years, we have raised over $30,000, aiding more than
600 disadvantaged residents of the city we share. Donations may be in cash or check (payable to Bill Hoye) and delivered to Room 2023 by Fri., Dec. 4. More info at: http://bit.ly/1BqBGv.

- Duke Student Health Pharmacy closing Dec. 18
The Student Health Pharmacy will be closing permanently on Dec. 18, 2009. Prescriptions held at this pharmacy will be automatically transferred to the outpatient clinic pharmacy at Duke Hospital
South Clinic. If you want a prescription transferred to another pharmacy, call Student Health at 681-WELL, option 4.

- Professor Blocher to discuss 2nd Amendment at Nov. 16 event
