Curriculum

Family Law

A study of legal and policy issues relating to the family, emphasizing marriage and divorce. Topics include requirements to marriage, unmarried cohabitation, marital contracts, equitable distribution at divorce, spousal support, child custody and child support. In addition to a three-hour final examination, all students must negotiate a separation agreement.
