The Center for Genome Ethics, Law, and Policy is one of five centers within the Institute for Genome Sciences and Policy (IGSP).
Its mission is to promote socially beneficial and ethically responsible uses of genome science through research, teaching, and public discussion. In pursuit of this mission, the Center
supports scholarly research and teaching, creates opportunities for deliberation about ethical, legal, and policy concerns throughout the IGSP, and seeks to enhance the quality of public
debate and moral deliberation about genomics through programs devoted to public education and participation. The Kenan Institute For Ethics Center for the Study of Medical Ethics and Humanities The North Carolina State University Institute for Emerging Issues
