LawID Services for Students
As a Duke Law Student, you have both a Duke NetID and a law school LawID, each of which provides access to specific services. The NetID is issued by Duke's Office of Information Technology. OIT mailed your NetID credentials to your mailing address on record when you were admitted to the university. Law School Computing Services issued your LawID credentials to give you access to services provided by the Law School's Computing Services and Educational Technologies departments. If you are entering in the fall, Computing Services mails your LawID credentials to your mailing address on record during July. If you are entering in the summer, or as an exchange student for spring semester, Computing Services will give you your LawID credentials during orientation.
