Network Registration for New Students
You must register any network interfaces you wish to use on campus. A network interface can be either your wireless connection, or the wired connection you use with a network cable. We suggest you register both. To complete registration, you must be on campus. Follow these instructions to register:
Wireless Connection
Associate your connection with the Duke Network.
- Open the wireless connection icon on the system tray.

- Once the Duke network appears as a choice, select it and click on "Connect."
- You may be prompted that the network is unsecured. Select the option to connect.
Register your wireless interface.
- Once the network has associated your computer, open a web browser.
