Version 8 of McAfee Virusscan includes a rudimentary firewall that blocks certain ports. To permit Electronic Bluebook to upload your exam to our server, you need to set VirusScan to not block inbound or outbound traffic on port 21. Do this before beginning your exam.

Instructions:

  1. Right-click on the VirusScan shield on your system tray.
  2. Select "VirusScan Console."
  3. Select "Access Protection."
  4. Clear the boxes labeled "Prevent FTP inbound" and "Prevent FTP outbound."
  5. Select "OK."

We recommend you restore protection by checking those boxes after you have completed your exam.
