Transportation and Parking
Airport
Durham is served by the Raleigh-Durham International Airport which is 10 miles southeast of Durham, between Durham and Raleigh. Taxi, limousine and rental car service is available. Taxi rates from the airport to the Law School are approximately $30 and can be shared. R & G
Transportation, 919-840-0262, offers hourly shuttles from the airport to nearby hotels and to Duke University's West Campus.
Air Canada, AirTran, America West, American, Continental, Delta, Northwest,
Southwest, United, and USAirways serve the airport.
Rail
Amtrak provides limited service to Durham. The Amtrak station is downtown approximately 4 miles from the law school.
Automobile
Durham is in the eastern piedmont of North Carolina and is served by both I-85 and I-40. The law school is on the west campus of Duke University.
Parking
There will be a limited number of parking spaces in the Gross Chemistry lot, a five-minute walk from the law school. Parking permits cost $3 each day for Wednesday, Thursday and
Friday. You must reserve your parking permits not later than 5:00 PM Friday, June 13.
