  • P.E.O. Scholar Awards
    P.E.O. Scholar Awards (PSA) was established in 1991 to provide substantial merit-based awards for women of the United States and Canada who are either pursuing a doctoral level degree or engaged in postgraduate study or research at an accredited college or university.

  • P.E.O. International Peace Scholarship
    P.E.O. International Peace Scholarships are awarded annually to women who are citizens of countries other than the United States or Canada for graduate study in a degree from schools in the United States and Canada. The maximum amount for a full 12 months of study is $8,000.

  • Milbank Diversity Scholars Program
    The program awards at least two students annually with a salaried summer associate position and a $50,000 scholarship. ($15,000 will be distributed during the students’ third year of law school, and a payment of the additional $35,000 will be awarded contingent upon receipt and acceptance of an offer of permanent employment.) Applications must be postmarked by September 1, 2008.

  • Access Group "One Less Worry" Scholarship
    Access Group is asking law students throughout the country to videotape their worries for the chance to win a $10,000 scholarship for law school.

  • Cabaniss, Johnston Scholarship (for AL residents)
    The $5000 Cabaniss, Johnston Scholarship’s aim is to recognize and assist academically outstanding second-year law students who are also Alabama residents, and, further, to help promising law students become lawyers who will make a positive impact on society. A runner-up scholarship of $1000 may be awarded at the selection committee’s discretion.

  • Adler Pollock & Sheehan Diversity Scholarship
    AP&S will award a scholarship of $10,000 to a minority student entering his or her first year of law school. The purpose of the scholarship is to encourage and assist a needy minority student, who has demonstrated academic excellence and a commitment to the community, to attend law school and successfully enter the practice of law. Applicant must be a permanent resident of Massachusetts or Rhode Island and must intend on working and residing in Massachusetts or Rhode Island upon graduation.

  • Womble Carlyle Scholars Program
    Established in 2004, the Womble Carlyle Scholars Program awards scholarships to diverse second-year law students who present solid academic credentials, personal or professional achievement outside the school environment, and a record of significant community service.

    In addition to the scholarship ($4,000.00 per year), an offer of summer employment as a Summer Associate in one of the Firm’s eleven offices is extended to the Scholar after his/her second year of law school.
