** It is unlikely that we will be able to invite Visiting Scholars to spend time at Duke Law School during the 2007-08 academic year. The Law School building, including the library, is expected to undergo substantial construction during that period of time. You are welcome to check with us in early January to find out if we will be able to issue any invitations. We very much treasure our visiting scholars and hope that if you are not able to visit in 2007-08, you will contact us again during the following year. **
