Install Windows Vista SP1
Your computer must be running Vista with service pack 1 (SP1) in order to use the Novell printing program. Installing SP1 will also improve general Vista performance.
Determine whether your computer has SP1 installed.
- Select Start.
- Right-click on "Computer."
- View the area under "Windows edition." If "Service Pack 1" is shown, then it has been installed.
- If "Service Pack 1" is not shown then you need to install it.
Installing SP1.
- Connect to the Internet.
- Select Start | All Programs | Windows Update.
- Select "View Available Updates" to confirm that SP1 is available.
- Select "Install."
- Note that installing SP1 can take up to an hour or more, depending on the speed of your Internet connection.
